- Meet income eligibility guidelines
- Be an Ottawa County Resident
- Have, or be the legal guardian of a child between 5 and 65 pounds for a convertible car seat or between 40 pounds (and be too tall for a convertible) and 100 pounds for a booster seat. Or be pregnant.
- Attend a class and installation training (30 to 60 minutes long)
If you would like to schedule an appointment for a new car seat please call the Ottawa County Health Department at 419-734-6800.
